Stage 4: Arnsberg up sword
(total 58.25 km, journey time approx 3 hours)
After a very quiet night in the Country Lodge, it was the first time sharply downhill:))) then pass again on the picturesque Old town of Arnsberg ever Ruhrauen the way! The stage is then slowly finally flat. Time and again it goes through a long forest areas.
The Ruhr in Arnberg ... A dream!
On Chain Forging Museum in Fröndenberg it was relatively fast, the first stage of the sausage! The last 20 kilometers it is then always the Ruhrauen along! Once in sword we are back on familiar territory: our starting point of the Ruhr Valley Cycle Route.

We can not say exactly which part of the Ruhr Valley cycle route was beautiful. The Sub-region has undertaken in each case, more surprising part of the Sauerland, of course unbeatable as regards peace and nature! All in all, this tour is nice for short weekend trips, as many of the sections are easily accessible by train. In addition, it is because of the perfect signs, rather quickly. A cycle map is not really necessary. Even after stage 3 and 4 we can say: The Ruhr Valley Cycle Route was rightly chosen as the most beautiful bike path NRW !
