The last part of Basel Breisach was landscaped simply "a dream". With a short break in Neuchatel, it actually went straight to Basel. Since we have never been to Basel, we were more than curious.

arrived in Basel in Basel, we backpackers. An otherwise very cool hostel which is located in an old industrial site is located - between louder studios and workshops for artists.
In Switzerland there but actually bike parking! Very awesome!

Although Basel is quite small, there is still much to discover. An incredibly beautiful city, with old age really mean - most of the houses are from the 13th or 14 Century. See all the beautifully made - but also have several disadvantages, as we have learned from Mietaushängen. If it goes badly are also times only Etagenklo and shower.

interesting are the ferries across the Rhine, which work without any engine, the boats with a rope hanging from a rope that is stretched between the two banks of the Rhine. The boat moves only by the power of the flow.

After we scoured all the sights in Basel, we went back the next day by train to Kölle. Not only the hostel was cool, quite Basel was actually very cool. A very chill place, comfortable with many half-timbered houses. Highly recommended is the way the "Hirscheck" in Small-Basel. There are delicious organic food and totally freaky people. However, the waitresses are still freaked out ... Real an experience!
